music videos suck ass. every music video nowadays just gives the lead singer a chance to glorify themselves and portray an image of some misterious side that every lead singer seems to have, like there's something deeper than the unfathomable depths of their rockstar egos. i saw this music video the other day, and all there really was was shots of the band and all the "unimportant" musicians, moody mugshots of the singer, and short clips of him fucking some chick. that's so.... i don't know. it just pissed me off.

if i was to make a music video, it would have to dedicate every second to being badass. we would be in a skate park, just rockin out, and there would be like BMX bikes just doing back flips, front flips, left to right flips, and all sorts of crazy shit. then there would be just like some people in the backround breaking shit, and there would have to be hezza hot chicks EVERYWHERE. doing stuff with..... dairy products. then this dude would have to do a monster backflip over us on a motorcross bike. ON FIRE. and then i would break my guitar over davids drumset, and we would throw the bass drum into the crowd of people that had amassed during the whole video. no one would be able to watch that and not shit their pants with joy. i only hope that could ever happen. it would make my life.
